Best for one flat price with every reader

Mediumchat review

Our score: 5.9 out of 10 (Below average)

Updated · By the editorial team · Desk research (how we rate) · #8 of 9 in our comparison

Mediumchat is a chat platform where every reader costs the same, about $2 a minute, and new customers get the first 3 minutes free. Credits never expire and there's no subscription. It scores lower on transparency and range: prices only appear after you sign up, there's no phone, video or app, and its two refund policies don't match.

Trustpilot shows 4.2/5 from 45 reviews, 9% of them one-star. Mediumchat invites all customers to review and has replied to every negative review, but the sample is small and there are no app ratings to cross-check. The 9.6–9.8/10 rating on Mediumchat's own site comes from its internal reviews, which we don't use for scoring. It has operated since 2014.
